Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Yaki Imo Studio ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you play Blokka (the "Game"). By playing the Game, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

1. Information We Collect
Information collected automatically
When you play Blokka, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information, including:
Device and technical information — device model, operating system and version, unique device/advertising identifiers (such as Apple's IDFA or Google's Advertising ID), IP address, language settings, and general performance/crash data.
Gameplay data — match history, games played and won, in-game currency balance and earnings, level progress, item and cosmetic ownership (ball skins, avatars), and settings such as your sound/haptics preference.
Advertising data — if you view in-game ads, our advertising partners (see Section 3) may collect information about ad views and interactions, typically tied to your device's advertising identifier, in order to serve and measure ads.
We do not currently require you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, physical address, or phone number to play the Game. Blokka uses anonymous device-based sign-in to save your progress.
Information you choose to provide
If you use the in-game "Report a Bug" feature, it opens your device's email app addressed to hello@yakiimo.co. Anything you write and send is provided directly by you through your own email account — we receive it the same way we'd receive any email, and you're free to include as much or as little information as you'd like.
Purchase information
If you make an in-app purchase, that transaction is handled entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play — we do not collect or store your payment card details. We receive confirmation that a purchase was made (product purchased, amount, and a receipt used to verify the purchase is genuine) so we can credit the correct item to your account.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
Operate the Game, save your progress, and process in-game matches and transactions
Maintain and improve game balance, features, and performance
Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, cheating, or fraud
Serve and measure advertising, including personalizing ads where permitted (see Section 4)
Respond to support requests
Comply with legal obligations
3. Third-Party Services We Use
Blokka is built on the following third-party services, each of which processes some of the information described above under its own privacy policy:
Unity Gaming Services (Authentication, Cloud Save, Cloud Code, Economy, Leaderboards, and Multiplayer/networking) — used to save your progress, manage your in-game currency and items, run matches, and (where enabled) power leaderboards. Unity LevelPlay — an ad mediation platform used to show in-game ads. LevelPlay works with a network of third-party ad networks, which may vary over time and each collect and use data (including advertising identifiers) under their own privacy policies. See Unity's privacy policy above and Unity's mediated-partners disclosure for the current list of networks.
Unity IAP / Apple App Store / Google Play Billing — used to process in-app purchases. Payment information is handled entirely by Apple or Google.
Apple Game Center / Google Play Games Services (where enabled) — if you connect your Game Center or Google Play Games account, those platforms may share your player identity and gameplay achievements with us to support features like leaderboards. See Apple's and Google's respective privacy policies.
4. Advertising and Your Choices
Blokka may show ads to support the free-to-play experience. Depending on your device and region:
iOS — Apple requires apps to ask your permission (App Tracking Transparency) before using your device's advertising identifier to track you across other companies' apps and websites. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Android — you can reset or limit your Advertising ID in your device's Google Settings → Ads.
You can also opt out of interest-based advertising generally through the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info) or Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org), where applicable.
Turning off ad tracking does not stop ads entirely — it limits how they're personalized.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:
With the service providers listed in Section 3, to operate the Game
If required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Yaki Imo Studio, our players, or others
In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information under the new ownership
With your consent
6. Data Retention
We retain gameplay and account data for as long as needed to provide the Game and for legitimate business purposes (such as fraud prevention and legal compliance). You can request deletion of your data at any time — see Section 8.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Privacy Rights
If you are in the European Economic Area, UK, or similar jurisdictions
You have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict our use of your personal data, to receive a copy of it in a portable format, and to object to certain processing. You may withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights, contact hello@yakiimo.co.
If you are a California resident
Under the CCPA/CPRA, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (as those terms are defined by California law) — including opting out of cross-context behavioral advertising if applicable. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To submit a request, contact hello@yakiimo.co.
All players
Regardless of location, you can request that we delete your gameplay data by emailing hello@yakiimo.co with your request. Because the Game uses anonymous device-based sign-in rather than accounts, please include any device or player identifiers you have available (for example, from your game settings) to help us locate your data.
